Ian and Dawne Cowley, a husband-and-wife team, founded Betamindes in 2005 with a shared vision of delivering high-quality, person-centred care.Ian, a local entrepreneur, successfully ran a joinery and carpentry business for 25 years before bringing his personal experience of supporting family members with dementia into the care sector.Dawne, a Registered Mental Health Nurse with over two decades of experience in the NHS, specialised in dementia care from the late 1990s and led several joint ventures with the NHS and Social Services to establish day care centres across the West Midlands and South Cheshire.Together, they built Betamindes as a family-run business rooted in their local community of Wistaston, driven by a deep passion for compassionate care. Their commitment remains strong: to uphold their founding principles and ensure every client receives a care package tailored to their individual needs, supported by a team that shares their dedication to excellence.
