Frequently asked questions

What areas do you cover?
We provide home care and day support across Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Haslington, Wistaston, Shavington, Wybunbury, and surrounding parts of Cheshire and Staffordshire.
Do you offer half-day sessions at the Day Centre?
We do! In addition to our popular full-day sessions (10am–4pm), we now offer half-day options, perfect for those easing into support or needing flexibility around other commitments.
Can I meet my carer before support begins?
Absolutely. Wherever possible, we’ll arrange for you to meet your carer in advance — because we believe trust, comfort and consistency are key to great care.
Are your carers trained?
They are. Every team member receives full training in areas such as safeguarding, moving and handling, medication, dementia awareness, and more. Many also hold or are working towards QCF Level 2 or equivalent care qualifications.
Do you offer respite or overnight care?
Yes — we know how important it is for carers to take time to rest and recharge. We offer flexible respite care, including daytime breaks, overnight support, and short-term cover either in the comfort of your home or at our welcoming Day Centre. Whether it’s planned in advance or needed at short notice, we’re here to help you take that well-earned breather with complete confidence.
Is your Day Centre secure?
Yes — our Day Centre is set in a purpose-built, fully secure bungalow, designed for comfort, safety and peace of mind. Visitors are free to enjoy the space, but cannot leave unaccompanied, helping families feel completely reassured.
What does home care include?
Our home care services are built around each individual and can include personal care, medication support, companionship, meal preparation, light housework, mobility assistance, and more. It’s all tailored to your needs, preferences and daily routine.
Is there funding or financial help available?
Yes — depending on your situation, you may be eligible for funding through Cheshire East Council or NHS Continuing Healthcare. We’re happy to guide you through the options and help with any paperwork or queries.
What makes Betamindes different?
We’re a family-run service with a personal approach. That means real relationships, consistent carers, and a focus on treating every person with dignity, warmth and respect. We care for others the way we’d want our own loved ones to be cared for.
How do I get started?
